Scott Hall beats up girlfriend. Gets arrested.

On Friday Scott Halls girlfriend, Lisa Howell, called the police after Scott had been drinking nonstop for days and choked her. Police arrived to see red marks around her neck and arrested Hall.

Scott Hall was so drunk that upon arrival to the police station, they refused to book him. The officers had to take him to a local hospital to get medical clearance, so he could be booked.

Lisa is not pressing charges however, so Scott should be able to resume drinking and beating the crap out of her pretty soon.

Scott Hall hospitalized

Scott Hall has reportedly sought help over personal issues. Over the weekend, the wrestler known in the ring as Razor Ramon was working a Top Rope Wrestling show in Massachusetts. While the details on what exactly happened are not clear, it is believed that Hall, who has battled alcoholism and drug addiction, fell off the wagon. Rumors of an overdose proved to be false. He reportedly showed up "not ready to perform," and he was carried out to the ring.

Tuesday, Hall tweeted a message that sounds much more like a publicist's statement. "At the hospital in New England! Doing good. Thanks for all your well wishes and support..."

Friend Shawn Michaels took to his own social networking site on Sunday, posting that Hall was going through a "private matter" and "he is getting help." Michaels also went on to add: "All of us want the best 4him." Another friend and Kliq member Kevin Nash stated on his Twitter account that he will have an active role in Hall's recovery. Hall's message read: "I'll be at the airport when he lands and taking him to my home when he lands."

Nash also went on to defend Hall, in typical Diesel fashion: "To the motherf----- that made a joke who would want his kidney lol send me your address and let's see how funny it is. He's my brother and we'll get through this."

Here is hoping Hall will have a rested stay where ever he is and is able to overcome his demons.

My favorite Wrestlers: #10 Scott Hall

Ok, my name is Joshua a lot of people call me by my high school nickname of Detroit Navy, and you can call me whatever you want. I have come to this site to write some wrestling content. I am an old school guy and most of what I write here will be from the old school. Hopefully you like it, maybe you won't, but hopefully we can get a good discussion going.

I am going to start with my top ten favorite wrestlers. This is based on nothing more than the enjoyment I personally got out of each performer. I got this idea because I just bought the WWE DVD 50 greatest Super Stars of all time.

I will start my top ten list at number ten with Scott Hall. I always liked him as Razor Ramon and in that character I think he was involved in the greatest wrestling match I ever saw (of course I am referring to the Ladder Match at Wrestlemania 10) and he would go on to be a huge part of the most successful wrestling angle ever the nWo.

Like a lot of great entertainers Scott's career was marred by personal demons. However, even with that he remains one of my favorite talents to ever enter the ring. Unlike most fans who started watching WCW after he debuted there, I had been watching WCW on Saturday Nights on TBS for years. I can remember watching Scott as part of the Diamond Mine stable. He got a big push back then in like 1991, but like everything else in WCW it faded quickly.

His run as Razor Ramon and later in the nWo was the stuff of legend. He may not have been the biggest guy, or the best wrestler but I always enjoyed his work, his matches, and his character. I always wondered how much of a role his feud with Goldust led to him leaving the old WWF in the first place. I have heard a lot of rumors over the years that he was not a big fan of that particular angle.

In the end for me Scott Hall had a great career, even though since I don't happen to like TNA I did not see his later stuff.

Last Call with Scott Hall - Backstage at TNA

Here we have the "web show" of sorts from the one and only Scott Hall. Hall basically takes a camera, tapes his thoughts, interviews a couple of people, along with some typical Hall antics....and it's really pretty funny. This stuff is no holds barred, no format, no rules type stuff, and it's pretty funny and a breath of fresh air compared to the usual over-produced over-rehearsed crap we get today in wrestling. This sort of thing can set TNA apart from the TV-PG WWE, and is something that can entertain adults. Hall has Sean Waltman (X-Pac, Syxx-Pac, 1-2-3 Kid etc.) on this episode, and features some words from Christopher Daniels, a walk by from Vince Russo, a Ric Flair sighting, and Hall and Pac checking out the Beautiful People. Hall and Pac seem like they may have been partying the night before, which is typical from these guys, but that doesn't mean they cant entertain and give us something different. TNA should somehow include this stuff on their shows and add to the story that Hall and Pac "don't work here" and "aren't welcome in the Impact Zone." Fresh off the TNA Mobile text alerts!

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling sent out a text message alert to their "TNA Mobile" subscribers yesterday afternoon. Here's the news along with some of my comments:

- Kevin Nash says he feels in the best shape of his life and isn't ruling out one last run in the ring.

Backstory: A few weeks back there was a rumor Nash would fight Kurt Angle in the main event of Bound for Glory. Nash has been pulling backstage for TNA to bring in Scott Hall and Sean Waltman. Hall has been getting in shape and wrestled Carlito in Puerto Rico this summer. Waltman has been teaming with TNA star Judas Mesias in Mexico.

- TNA will be touring Texas soon.

- TNA is looking to hold PPV events in 2008 in Ohio, Virgina, Illinois and Massachusetts.

- Gangrel was backstage at last week's TV tapings.

Backstory: As we reported here last week, former WWE star Gangrel is now a porn director. The "New Porn Order" sent out a press release with a quote from Gangrel: "I am thrilled to be joining the New Porn Order and taking this step into a new level of my career. Directing offers a new challenge that I am very excited to be taking on. I look forward to the many great films that will come from this union." Wow.

- Kurt Angle is in talks with the IFL about competing in the future.

Backstory: Angle was interviewed by FOX News in late september and continued to put IFL over. He said that he would be able to work for the company while still fulfilling his responsibilities with TNA Wrestling. He also mentioned that he would need a year to train before fighting.
