Triple H Hits Sweet Chin Music?!

After Raw went off the air, Jericho and Edge had a dark match and after the match, Jericho started running his mouth, until Triple H came out, and gave his own little tribute to HBK!

Wrestlemania 26 Thoughts And Pics From The Inside

Wow. What an event. These shows are always so much better live. As for match of the night, no doubt it has to be HBK vs Undertaker. As for WORST match of the night? Bret vs Vince was BOOOOORING. I dunno how it came off on TV, but the crowd was dead and there were a few boring chants going on around the building. Below are some pics I took, all I gotta say is I felt bad for the east side of the stadium when the roof opened up, you'll see why below. And some jerkoff in front of us had a damn sign for EVERY match and they were the most idiotic signs ever, as you'll see below, he forgot how to spell "spear" and had to start over on the other side. SREAR!!!!!!!! SREAR!!!!!!!!! SREAR!!!!!!!!!!

Wrestlemania Axxess Live Updates

Just got in. About to get Matt Hardys signature.

Ditched Matt hardys line because Bret hart came out.

Alright, got to be a bit of a pain updating this as I was checkin things out, so here are some more pics and a little wrap up...

Me and my nephew went into one of the rings and I picked him up and slammed him. Two security guards came running up and made us get out of the ring, they were acting as if we were in there to kick the ass of every little kid around. It was pretty hilarious how upset they were over it. Oh well.

Other than that, long lines for autographs, the wife got Matt Hardys autograph and told him the story about how her and I actually met on his message board. She told me he didn't seem that impressed and was tired of sitting there signing autographs.

Bret Hart came out and talked to The Fink in the ring set up. John Cena was also announced to come out, but we left before he did because, who cares what he has to say. Not us.

The Undertakers Graveyard and the tiny Museum set up with all the props and such were the best things. It was kinda sad seeing Savannah there in a photo thing and no one in line to get pics with her. Jimmy Wang Yang or whatever was doing autos but had maybe 5 people. Everyone was in line for MVP and Mark Henry.

Oh, and I beat some 7 year old in wrestling trivia and won a jersey. Haha take that kid!

Upcoming Wrestlemania 26 Coverage

So, Wrestlemania 26 is just a few short days away. And it is here, in my hometown. I am a little pissed because WWE isn't posting ALL the appearances that some Superstars are making. I missed out on Goldust today. But anyways, I plan to hit a couple of events, and will have my trusty iPhone with me that gives me the ability to post live updates from wherever I am. So, as for what is ahead....

Thursday. Wrestlemania Fan Axxess. I will be doing a few videos here and there from Axxess and posting them as things happen.

Friday. Ted Dibiase and Ted Dibiase Jr are doing autographs. The Million Dollar Man was one of my favorites growing up, if not my top favorite. I plan to hang out almost all day outside of the Best Buy where they will be appearing. Video from that will be up.

Saturday. Yeah, Ill be filming stuff on Saturday, but none of it WWE related. Gotta go film a wedding....................

Sunday. Wrestlemania 26. We plan to get there probably around Noon and do some general hanging out, who will we come across? Who knows.

So there ya have it, I'll be doing updates as I experience the Wrestlemania Weekend here in Phoenix. Pics and Videos mainly. Stay tuned.

Raw Ratings Drop

This is mainly just a little message to the WWE fanboys who seem to think that if a show has high ratings, it means that it is a good show. (Jay Leno).

The ratings for the Raw leading into Wrestlemania dropped 12% since last weeks Raw. Bringing in a 3.24

If you are wondering how TNA is doing in their ratings. Their ratings have not dropped that much. In fact this past Monday, their ratings actually increased a bit. Could it be because Raws main event was Cena and Batista talking. And TNAs main event was RVD and Jeff Hardy vs Beer Money Inc? An ACTUAL main event match? Who knows! Maybe because leading into Wrestlemania, WWE had NOTHING happen on Raw. Boooooooooriiiiiiiiiing.

Since most WWE fans are complete idiots, let me put it in simple terms. WWEs ratings are slipping, TNAs ratings are growing. There ya have it.

WWE proves they are still the best

For all who have continually knocked WWE for poor storyline building (Including myself at times) Monday Night Raw proved completely otherwise.

The fact of the matter is this, the Bret Hart storyline has come together absolutely perfectly. Sending out reports Bret broke his leg. Covering it up with a car accident which MANY thought was the kayfabe. And then people thought it was desperation that they would have the match regardless only to have it all culminate to Bret taking the cast off and showing he was fine and dandy....WWE knows how to build a proper feud.

Another example is Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. I personally hated the idea of a rematch but then as I thought more on it, it dawned on me. What if they put on another great match? What if they change the spots all together and tear the house down all over again? All the what ifs that come to mind build the anticipation and is why WWE is pushing for it again. They have the best build up for this match because its personal, its epic and it is the most anticipated match this year at Wrestlemania.

I know a lot of Cena haters will bash this but I don't care. Batista and Cena are building up this feud very well. Batista's jealous and envious nature is something that may be truthful deep down. He may actually feel that resentment towards Cena. Batista is a phenomenal heel and should have turned heel a long while ago. I wonder if WWE is going to allow Batista to beat super Cena though.....it would be interesting to see John finally give up and become a heel. All that aside however, this storyline is very well done. We can only hope it will translate into the ring for a great match.

The Edge and Jericho match is going to be phenomenal. Many think that Edge is going to win but, I'm not ready to jump on the bandwagon yet. Need to wait and see. Edge turning face has gone extremely well and Jericho is the best heel in the business. There is no comparison I have said this many times and will stand by it till someone else comes along. (Sheamus?) This is going to be a great match. To veterans who hold the crowds emotions in the palm of their hands? Honestly TNA may have better tech wrestlers but none compare to these two on the microphone and charisma.

Speaking of Sheamus, I am not surprised Triple H is wrestling him at Wrestlemania. He obviously thinks Sheamus has a future as do I. But does Triple H lose to him to boost his career? That is why I am interested in Wrestlemania this year. Text book story lines that make you think hmmmm what if? Despite many people who think this is an off year i disagree strongly. This is great for WWE and there is a reason why they get so many viewers, because they know how to put together good stories

I know I do not comment on TNA as often as WWE, but that is because TNA is struggling to stay afloat. Even with the appearance of Rob Van Dam and Jeff Hardy the ratings were still low compared to a Raw show that Vince pretty much threw to see if TNA could hold its own. Until I see better story building and until Hogan and Flair stop trying to relive past glories, I can't take the company seriously. Sorry, but just can't.

Volatile Relationship

Ever since the inaugural NXT show, WWE Pro The Miz has been at odds with his rookie, Daniel Bryan. The premise of NXT is for the WWE Pros to guide and train the rookies, offering them advise on how to take their game to the next level. The Miz hasn't done that for Bryan.

Back at the beginning in Milwaukee on February 23, 2010, The Miz sent Bryan to the ring so that he could introduce himself to the WWE Universe. He also told him that he had better show some personality or he would slam some into him. The rookie didn't take Miz's threat seriously. Once in the ring, Daniel Bryan said that he has more wrestling experience than The Miz. Not happy with Bryan's comments, The Miz came down to the ring and slapped his rookie in the face.

Later that night in the main event, Daniel Bryan wrestled the World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho in an outstanding match. During the match Bryan hit a Suicide Dive through the ropes onto Y2J, but crashed into the announcers table, hurting his ribs. The match ended when the World Champ made the rookie tap out to The Walls of Jericho.

The following week, Daniel Bryan was getting his injured ribs tapped up backstage when The Miz walked in and told him that he would be wrestling Wade Barrett. He then hit him in the ribs and told him that WWE Superstars had to work even when they were hurt.

Bryan went on to face Barrett that night who was accompanied to ringside by the World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho. Y2J's rookie was able to pin Bryan with a slam, further hurting his ribs. Jericho slithered into the ring after the match and put Bryan in the Walls of Jericho once again.

The third week of NXT pit the duo of The Miz and Daniel Bryan together as a tag team facing off against R-Truth and David Otunga. Before the match got under way, The Miz threatened Bryan saying that he was already 0 and 2, and if he let him down tonight by losing, he would have him kicked off NXT.

The Miz tagged himself into the match when Bryan had a submission hold locked in on Otunga, which angered Bryan. The two got in each others faces which ended with the rookie shoving The Miz, who got hit with a Spinebuster which led to him getting pinned.

The two were face to face again after the match and Bryan pretended like he was going to hit The Miz, which made him flinch back further embarrassing the WWE Pro.

Will Daniel Bryan and The Miz be able to put their differences aside before the end of the first season on NXT or will this volatile relationship finally explode right in front of the WWE Universe.

TNA signs Jeff Hardy

Reports are in that the artist formerly known as the "Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy has signed a one year deal with TNA that includes around 100 days of work.

This is a HUGE signing for TNA combined with the arrival of Rob Van Dam to the lineup. TNA may just be making the necessary moves to make Vince McMahon at least somewhat worried about the competition out there.
As good ole J.R. would say, "Business is about to pick up!"

The RAW and Impact March 8th Ratings are in...

The New Monday Night War kicked off last night, and we've already got the much anticipated ratings. WWE RAW drew a 3.4 rating, while TNA Impact drew a 1.0. Now at first glance it may seem that TNA didn't get what they had hoped, being on January 4th in their initial Monday night show, they scored a 1.5, which exceeded expectations. Of course TNA knew they were going to be the underdog in this war, and they're taking on WWE in their traditional hottest time of the year in the Road to WrestleMania, so all in all TNA did not fail, and did achieve a respectable number. Also keep in mind that two of their main stars that will help draw viewers away from WWE, Rob Van Dam and Jeff Hardy were surprises on the show, and the buzz around them may help TNA grab viewers for next weeks show. WWE didn't pull a monster rating, but weren't hurt too bad either, so basically they coast along much like their weekly show. I think TNA did most things right last night, and while they will be in for an uphill battle, I think they have the right formula to pull fans away from the boring WWE formula and scripted TV, to TNA's "anything can happen" style over the next few weeks.

WWE RAW vs. TNA Impact - Which Was Better

The second coming of the Monday Night War is officially underway, and TNA came out with guns blazing, while WWE gave us....the usual Monday Night RAW. TNA went all out with billboards, commercials, and promoting the returns of what may be the two most legendary figures in wrestling, those being of course Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair. While most say that internally WWE isn't worried about TNA at all, they were quick to put The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels out to start off their show, to counteract TNA's strategy of opening their show with their main event of Hogan and Abyss vs. Ric Flair and AJ Styles. WWE's kickoff was what seemed to be just another Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels face to face promo, same as we've seen in both last years and this years WrestleMania buildup. The tag match on TNA featured a very slow Hogan as expected, but the match didn't go too long before surprise number one of the night which was Sting returning, only to turn heel on Hogan and Abyss. Hogan was bloodied, but vowed to finish the match later. On RAW we got more of the same stuff we've seen recently. Legacy in a boring feud (it's just so bland to see 3 guys who dress alike, same bodies, etc.) The Money in the Bank Match pretty much has the same guys as usual, mixed in with guys that have no chance of winning, so whatever. TNA had some great surprises, possibly the biggest of which was the debut of Rob Van Dam, as he shocked a rabid crowd by beating Sting in about 10 seconds. Much controversy has come of the aftermath, as Sting beat down RVD and really got over as a heel for doing so, but many feel RVD's debut ended on a sour note in the segment - the big key, it has people talking. I really can't pick anything out on RAW that I can say was done to counteract TNA. Vince vs. Cena turned out to be just another boring swerve with a gauntlet match and Cena squashing guys and making them all look worthless, all leading to the obvious Batista run in. The whole show is 1 big commercial for whatever pay per view is next, while TNA is unpredictable with stars like RVD and Jeff Hardy (who returned to end the show last night.) TNA was one big bloodbath by the end of the night, emphasizing that they're not afraid of a bloody war, and you won't see matches stopped and put on hold ala the TV-PG WWE. WWE always ends with a stare down or a beat down, while TNA ended with Hardy hitting the ring, blowing the roof off the Impact Zone, and left us with a shot of Hardy about to hit the swanton bomb. Overall I once again say that TNA did what was necessary to put on the better show, and make people want to follow their stories, which they have plenty of now. WWE is 3 weeks out from Mania, and has resorted to simply having guys walk out and basically say "How about a match at Mania?" which is how the Sheamus vs. Triple H match was set up. Hopefully TNA can keep this up, and I think RVD and Hardy are 2 names that have the power to draw fans away from RAW, and become regular Impact viewers.

MacGruber Trailer With Chris Jericho, Kane, Mark Henry, MVP, The Great Khali, and Kane!

Some may know, some may not, but SNL did a spoof of the old show, MacGyver, called MacGruber. Well I stopped watching SNL, so I can't really say for myself, but apparently it was funny enough to be turned into a feature film. The Wife and I went to see The Crazies this past weekend and they showed the trailer for it and was surprised to see many WWE superstars who are playing part of MacGrubers elite team of bad asses. Here is a screenshot of the team, and below that is the trailer for the movie. Looks like, a renter.

From left to right, MVP, Kane, The Great Khali, Mark Henry, Chris Jericho. Will Forte in the center as MacGruber.

Last Call with Scott Hall - Backstage at TNA

Here we have the "web show" of sorts from the one and only Scott Hall. Hall basically takes a camera, tapes his thoughts, interviews a couple of people, along with some typical Hall antics....and it's really pretty funny. This stuff is no holds barred, no format, no rules type stuff, and it's pretty funny and a breath of fresh air compared to the usual over-produced over-rehearsed crap we get today in wrestling. This sort of thing can set TNA apart from the TV-PG WWE, and is something that can entertain adults. Hall has Sean Waltman (X-Pac, Syxx-Pac, 1-2-3 Kid etc.) on this episode, and features some words from Christopher Daniels, a walk by from Vince Russo, a Ric Flair sighting, and Hall and Pac checking out the Beautiful People. Hall and Pac seem like they may have been partying the night before, which is typical from these guys, but that doesn't mean they cant entertain and give us something different. TNA should somehow include this stuff on their shows and add to the story that Hall and Pac "don't work here" and "aren't welcome in the Impact Zone." Check out the full episode of "Last Call with Scott Hall" below:

Is Chris Jericho Afraid?

How do you know if you are the best in the world at what you do? You win the World heavyweight Championship. That is a feat Chris Jericho has done several times, proving to the world that he is the greatest, at least for the time being. In the WWE the World Champion always has to keep looking over his shoulder because someone is coming to try and prove that they are better and take your title.

Current NXT superstar and newcomer to the WWE, Daniel Bryan, has Jericho running scared. Who is Daniel Bryan? That is what the WWE Universe is asking.

Bryan started wrestling in his backyard before attending the Texas Wrestling Alliance, wrestling school run by the Heart Break kid Shawn Michaels. Daniels went on to work for Memphis Championship Wrestling, a WWE Developmental territory until the companies parted ways. Daniel continued to work, even jobbing to guys on Velocity and Heat.

Daniel Bryan was named the "Founding Father" of Ring of Honor. He headlined the promotions debut show in a three way match with Low ki and Christopher Daniels. In September of 2005, Bryan won the Ring of Honor World Championship by defeating James Gibson at Glory by Honor IV.

Ring of Honor announced on August 23, 2009 that Bryan had signed a contract with the WWE. He was sent to Florida Championship Wrestling, a developmental territory in January of the following year, until being called up to NXT.

On the inaugural NXT show on February 23, 2010, Daniel Bryan took the World Champ to the limit in an awesome match that saw the newcomer tap out to the Walls of Jericho. During the match, Bryan hit a suicide dive from the ring to the floor onto Jericho, but he crashed into the announcers table injuring his ribs. The match may have had a different outcome if that didn't happen. That has to be in the back of Jericho's mind.

The next week on NXT, the World Champ showed he was intimidated by the newcomer by attacking him after his match. Bryan lost to fellow NXT Rookie Wade Barrett, then was once again put into the Walls of Jericho. Chris is trying to squash his competition before he has a chance to take his title.

Will Daniel Bryan be able to overcome his rib injury and if given another opportunity to step in the ring with Chris Jericho, could he beat him. The WWE Universe will have to wait and see if this rookie has what it takes to compete in the WWE.

TNA Signs RVD

Wow. This is great news. Hogan hinted at it, mainly to keep it a surprise, but Spike TV confirmed it today. The whole, F'n, show, has signed with TNA. Mr. Monday Night, debuts, THIS Monday Night! And to celebrate this news, let us look back, and probably the greatest moment in RVDs run in the WWE. And what I call, my favorite match of the decade.
