Volatile Relationship

Ever since the inaugural NXT show, WWE Pro The Miz has been at odds with his rookie, Daniel Bryan. The premise of NXT is for the WWE Pros to guide and train the rookies, offering them advise on how to take their game to the next level. The Miz hasn't done that for Bryan.

Back at the beginning in Milwaukee on February 23, 2010, The Miz sent Bryan to the ring so that he could introduce himself to the WWE Universe. He also told him that he had better show some personality or he would slam some into him. The rookie didn't take Miz's threat seriously. Once in the ring, Daniel Bryan said that he has more wrestling experience than The Miz. Not happy with Bryan's comments, The Miz came down to the ring and slapped his rookie in the face.

Later that night in the main event, Daniel Bryan wrestled the World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho in an outstanding match. During the match Bryan hit a Suicide Dive through the ropes onto Y2J, but crashed into the announcers table, hurting his ribs. The match ended when the World Champ made the rookie tap out to The Walls of Jericho.

The following week, Daniel Bryan was getting his injured ribs tapped up backstage when The Miz walked in and told him that he would be wrestling Wade Barrett. He then hit him in the ribs and told him that WWE Superstars had to work even when they were hurt.

Bryan went on to face Barrett that night who was accompanied to ringside by the World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho. Y2J's rookie was able to pin Bryan with a slam, further hurting his ribs. Jericho slithered into the ring after the match and put Bryan in the Walls of Jericho once again.

The third week of NXT pit the duo of The Miz and Daniel Bryan together as a tag team facing off against R-Truth and David Otunga. Before the match got under way, The Miz threatened Bryan saying that he was already 0 and 2, and if he let him down tonight by losing, he would have him kicked off NXT.

The Miz tagged himself into the match when Bryan had a submission hold locked in on Otunga, which angered Bryan. The two got in each others faces which ended with the rookie shoving The Miz, who got hit with a Spinebuster which led to him getting pinned.

The two were face to face again after the match and Bryan pretended like he was going to hit The Miz, which made him flinch back further embarrassing the WWE Pro.

Will Daniel Bryan and The Miz be able to put their differences aside before the end of the first season on NXT or will this volatile relationship finally explode right in front of the WWE Universe.
